The HumPRCTM Remote Control uses a Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) protocol to achieve longer range and higher noise immunity than narrowband radios. An automatic acknowledgment LED lets the user know that the receiver got the transmission.  Variants are available which utilize the 868MHz and 900MHz bands for multi-region operation. It has been pre-certified for FCC, IC, and CE compliance, reducing costs and time to market. This small remote has a transmission range of up to 0.8 miles (1,300m), depending on the receiver antenna and operating environment. It uses a single 3V CR2032 lithium button cell.
